NEMA Appoints Veteran Policy Leader Will Hupman to Lead Government Affairs

ARLINGTON, Va. - As electricity demand accelerates and policymakers focus on strengthening America's energy infrastructure and manufacturing base, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association today announced that Will Hupman has joined NEMA as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs. He will lead NEMA's federal and state advocacy strategy, advancing policies that support domestic manufacturing, grid modernization, and an increasingly electrified economy.

Hupman joins NEMA with more than two decades of experience advancing public policy and advocacy at the highest levels of government and industry. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Downstream Policy at the American Petroleum Institute, following leadership roles at The Sherwin-Williams Company and on Capitol Hill, where he served as Legislative Director and Legislative Counsel for two members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
