New era for PCF Training & Consultancy Solutions Ltd as Caerphilly Council's UKSPF grant supports expansion

Posted on : 08 May 2025
PCF Training & Consultancy Solutions Ltd announces the successful completion of its move to larger premises, now fully operational at Suite 2-3, Britannia House, Caerphilly Business Park. The transition made possible through a £9,771.88 Capital and £2,000 Revenue, match funded, UKSPF Business Development Grant from Caerphilly Borough County Council, marks a significant milestone for the health and safety consultancy and training provider that began operations on May 15, 2022.
The new centre features state-of-the-art facilities, including revamped offices, breakout rooms, and upgraded welfare facilities, allowing PCF to enhance its service delivery. The company has already begun to run accredited health and safety training courses from its new location, which can accommodate a variety of training sessions for various size groups. With a commitment to driving quality standards, PCF aims to expand its offerings, with plans to develop new courses and provide bespoke training solutions tailored to business needs. They also offer a wide range of consultancy in the Heath, Food and Fire Safety support.
Christine Fitt, Co-Managing Director of PCF Training, expressed gratitude for the grant support saying "PCF have found the process of applying for the grant to be clear, precise, and supportive. If we had not received the grant award, our business progression into larger premises would not have happened as soon as it did. This has allowed the business to deliver our services to more delegates within the locality."
The move to the new training centre, which PCF officially occupied in September 2024, reflects the company's growth trajectory and increased demand for its services. Previously, training sessions were conducted in hired spaces; now, all training occurs in-house. This strategic shift is not only about expansion but also about investing in the local community. PCF prioritised local suppliers for the refurbishment of the new premises, aligning with its commitment to support local businesses and foster community development.
Paul Chappell, Co-Managing Director, added "With our new training centre, we are set to maximise our reach and resource capabilities. Our aim is to drive quality standards while fostering organic growth through new local clients and innovative training opportunities and consultancy."
On a visit to the new centre attended by CBCC's Deputy Leader Cllr Jamie Pritchard, and CCBC's Business Team, Sally Harvey, Senior Investment Officer, commented "It was lovely to visit PCF Training's new training centre and step into their future for learning and growth. The state-of-the-art facilities will hopefully inspire a renewed commitment to excellence for all their learners. We are pleased to support them with the grant that enabled this significant move."
As PCF Training & Consultancy Solutions Ltd continues to grow, the company remains focused on maximizing the use of its new training centre while establishing relationships with new local clients. The business aims to increase the number of training courses offered each month, currently at 30, and expand its team to meet the rising demand.
