Looking Ahead: Strategic Planning for the Future
Building on this success, the EIC is preparing for its next chapter. This summer, the Committee will convene a series of strategic planning sessions to update the Project Plan, set new strategies and targets for the next five-plus years and align its work with Rochester's evolving energy and sustainability goals.
"This milestone proves that when partnership, innovation, and commitment come together, big things are possible," said Lauren Jensen, Energy and Sustainability Manager at Destination Medical Center "We're not just celebrating what we've accomplished - we're setting the foundation for the next wave of energy leadership in Rochester."
The EIC's collaborative, results-driven model continues to serve as a template for how cities can align government, utilities, healthcare institutions and businesses to drive meaningful energy initiatives.
