McMurry University Welcomes Interim Director of Safety and Security

McMurry University is pleased to welcome Benjamin Fair as Interim Director of Safety and Security.

Fair brings more than a decade of experience in security training, personal protection, and investigative services. Since 2013, he has owned and operated A Fair Advantage Self Defense Concepts and Navarro's Combatives, where he has trained military personnel, law enforcement officers, and private security professionals in Krav Maga and Filipino Martial Arts (FMA).

In addition to his training background, Fair is a licensed private investigator with over 7 years of experience. He previously served as a Commissioned Security Officer with Spartan Global Consulting, where he specialized in personal protection and led the organization's investigations division.

At McMurry, Fair is focused on building and sustaining a highly trained, professional safety and security team while strengthening collaboration across campus. He is committed to fostering an environment where every member of the McMurry community feels safe, supported, and cared for.
