Eon, CancerIQ Partner to Find At-Risk Patients Earlier and Drive Completion of Recommended Care

DENVER and CHICAGO, September 15, 2026 - Eon, a leader in incidental findings and early detection technology, today announced a partnership with CancerIQ, a cancer risk identification and screening completion platform. The referral partnership gives both companies' health system clients easier access to CancerIQ's upstream comprehensive risk assessment and patient activation capabilities and Eon's downstream screening and incidental findings management.

Historically, health systems lose at-risk patients in two ways. First, many high-risk patients never reach imaging because the personal or family history that qualifies them for screening goes unidentified. CancerIQ solves this problem by identifying who is eligible among the broader patient population, confirming what they qualify for, and driving that patient to test completion. Second, a significant share of patients who do undergo imaging have incidental findings, abnormalities detected that are unrelated to the reason for their scan, and most of those patients never receive appropriate follow-up. Eon solves this systemic challenge by identifying findings in radiology reports and managing patients longitudinally through needed follow-up.

‍Through this partnership, Eon health system clients can gain access to CancerIQ's genetic and lifestyle risk identification and patient activation platform, while CancerIQ health system clients can gain access to Eon to manage their cancer screening and incidental findings populations.

‍"Our focus at Eon has always been to ensure that no patient falls through the cracks, and our health system partners share that same commitment," said Dr. Akrum "Aki" Alzubaidi, CEO and Founder of Eon. "The way to achieve it is to get more at-risk patients into early detection pathways without adding complexity or burden to care teams. CancerIQ offers a proven way to identify these patients before they reach imaging, and it fits naturally with the work we're already doing. Together, these two entry points give health systems an end-to-end approach to managing their patients' care."

‍CancerIQ works across the patient population, via an in-clinic or at-home risk assessment deployed by oncology, breast imaging or primary care, to determine who meets guideline-based criteria for screening or surveillance. From there, CancerIQ guides the ordering of appropriate tests, such as low-dose CT, breast MRI, colonoscopy, or genetic testing, builds a care plan, and drives completion of that care.

‍Once a patient enters the imaging workflow, Eon serves as the operational engine for tracking and management. Eon's platform automatically identifies actionable findings, both expected and incidental, within radiology reports and tracks patients longitudinally. The technology empowers care teams and navigators to drive completion of recommended follow-up exams, biopsies, or consultations.

‍"Earlier cancer detection starts with making sure patients get the right screening and care based on their unique risk," said Feyi Olopade Ayodele, co-founder and CEO of CancerIQ. "CancerIQ identifies those patients, determines what they're eligible for, and stays with them until that care is completed, not just ordered. Eon shares that same commitment for patients already in an imaging workflow, so no one falls through the cracks on either end. Together, we give health systems a greater opportunity to detect cancer earlier across their patient population."

‍Both companies bring a track record of measurable outcomes to the partnership. CancerIQ has driven a 4.2x increase in supplemental screening and an 8.9x average ROI for health system clients. Eon has helped health systems achieve greater than 90% follow-up completion rates and up to a 12.5x increase in downstream diagnostic exams. Together, the numbers point to the same goal this partnership is built around: more at-risk patients identified, and more of them completing the care they need.

The combined effect is fewer at-risk patients leaking out of the system, more guideline-concordant screening completed, and both achieved without adding staff to already-stretched navigation teams.
