WVU Day at the Legislature will highlight the University's academic programs, resources and more from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the West Virginia State Capital Complex in Charleston. (WVU Photo)
WHAT: West Virginia Universityand WVU Extensionwill host WVU Day at the Legislature, highlighting the University's premier academic programs, resources and events through engaging, interactive exhibits and providing chances to make connections with legislators, staffers, youth and other visitors.
WHO: WVU President Michael T. Benson, WVU Division for Land-Grant Engagement Associate Vice President and Dean Jorge Atiles, representatives from more than 40 WVU academic units and statewide outreach programs across the WVU System, the Mountaineer mascot, nearly 200 4-H'ers and school-age youths, legislators, other visitors and guests
WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 4, 9 a.m. to noon
WHERE: West Virginia State Capitol Complex, Building 1, Upper Rotunda, Charleston
NOTES: This event is free and open to visitors of all ages.
Included this year is a special exhibit celebrating the WVU PRT's 50th anniversary.
