The events aimed to engage young people and community members in interactive activities that promote mental health awareness, resilience, self-care and overall wellbeing.

Commenting on the importance of these events for the local Shellharbour community, BESIX Watpac CEO Mark Baker said,

"At BESIX Watpac, we believe in building more than just infrastructure; we are committed to building resilient communities. Presenting this event with the Goanna Academy allows us to directly support the wellbeing of young people in the regions where we work, ensuring they have the tools and support networks they need to thrive."

Led by Goanna Academy Founder Greg Inglis, the Mind & Movement Clinic brought together more than 350 young people aged 5 to 17 for a powerful day focused on connection, movement and mental wellbeing. Greg Inglis, alongside the Goanna Academy NRLW Ambassadors, delivered an engaging program filled with skills, drills, authenticity and inspiration.

The Community Mental Health Forum explored practical mental health strategies for both adults and young people, encouraging open dialogue between attendees, local services and community members.
