The city of Aurora's Office of International and Immigrant Affairs (OIIA) is excited to announce a new venture - a citywide, Hispanic-focused business conference.
"Innovation Unlimited 2026" will be at the APS Professional Learning and Conference Center from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10. Interested attendees should register here.
Promoting entrepreneurship in immigrant and refugee communities is one the most important goals outlined in the city's unique Immigrant Integration Plan. The plan calls for information and training, economic integration, and lowering barriers to entry for starting a business. In that spirit, "Innovation Unlimited" will focus on topics like digital presence, how to both start and grow a business, and how to do business with the city of Aurora.
"We are thrilled to host Innovation Unlimited, celebrating and uplifting Aurora's diverse business community," Ricardo Gambetta, manager of Aurora's Office of International and Immigrant Affairs. "The conference will have something for everyone, including specific information on the city's permitting and licensing processes."
Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman will offer opening remarks. Panels will feature local business owners and leaders, including executives at Diversity Matters, Lider Up Academy and Elemento Consulting, among others. The conference is hosted in collaboration with QR Comunidad Digital and other local partners, including the Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center, Alpine Bank, Global Chamber, World Trade Center Denver, Olvera Company Coffee, Aroma Coffee & Bakery, and El Comercio de Colorado.
The Office of International and Immigrant Affairs is also working on similar conferences for Aurora's African community (Summer 2026) and Asian American Pacific Islander community (Fall 2026). For information on this and other events follow OIIA's Facebook page at Facebook.com/InternationAlaurora.
