The City of Santa Rosa Housing and Community Services Department will conduct a public meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom Webinar. The purpose of the meeting will be to receive comments and recommendations to assist in setting priorities for the City of Santa Rosa's Fiscal Year 2025/2026 Action Plan programs that utilize Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds; and to inform and involve the community in the public services contract and awards process. Please note this meeting pertains only to the City of Santa Rosa's programs.
The City intends to use 100% of HOME funds and 85% of CDBG funds to support affordable housing programs. 15% of CDBG funds, as required by HUD regulations, will be used for the Public Services Program to provide focused, comprehensive homeless services by funding the operation of facilities serving the homeless population of Santa Rosa; local funding will be used for the federally mandated Fair Housing program. All HOPWA funds will be used to provide comprehensive services to support safe and stable housing and to decrease homelessness for low-income individuals who are HIV-positive and their families.
The application period opens February 5, 2025 and applications are due on February 28, 2025.
