April Surveying Operations on Route15 Merritt Parkway in New Canaan

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that surveying operations will be performed on Route15/Merritt Parkway in New Canaan, between Exits 15 and 13. This project is scheduled to occur on Saturday, April 18 and be completed on Sunday, April 19, 2026. The project 0089-0132PE consists of Bridge improvements for Bridge No. 05810 carrying Lapham Road and Bridge No. 05811 carrying Marvin Ridge Road, both over Route 15 in New Canaan.
This project is being performed by State Forces.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on Route15/Merritt Parkway between Exits 15 and 13, from Saturday, April 18 to Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Traffic control, signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
