Personnel appointments

Today, at the Palace of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received for a conversation the personnel who were appointed to responsible and managerial positions in the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs, the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security, the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy, and the Committee for Television and Radio under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

First, the Leader of the Nation comprehensively analyzed the activities of the military structures and units of the Ministry of Defense and the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security, emphasizing that in today's sensitive and complex world, vigilance and intelligence, more than ever, should be among the primary tasks of every leader in protecting the borders and homeland of the Motherland, improving combat readiness, continuously providing modern equipment, exchanging information, coordinating the activities of units, and generally ensuring the security and stability of the country.

The main topics of discussion were the elimination of the causes and factors that disrupt the regular service activities in military units, the prevention of lawlessness among military personnel, the upbringing of recruits in the spirit of patriotism, the study of modern military equipment and foreign languages, and the comprehensive provision of units with necessary supplies.

In accordance with paragraph 8 of Article 69 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, the proposals of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, "on the termination of the authority of the judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamshedzoda Jamshed Nazarsho due to his death", "on the election of the judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan Qodirzoda Jurabek Sharif" and "on the recall of Aminzoda Saidabonu Rustam due to reaching the maximum age for holding the post of judge" were submitted to the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Personnel changes have also taken place in several structures of the Ministry of Defense and the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security, with military commissars of a number of cities and districts of the country and heads of some detachments and other military units of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security appointed from among experienced officers.

"The activities of relevant authorities in the field of preventing illegal crossing of the state border, smuggling of drugs and other goods require vigilance, intelligence, courage, and bravery from each border guard," - emphasized the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon. It was stressed that the detection of the activities of organized crime groups should be comprehensively analyzed and studied, and the complex and unpredictable methods smugglers should be revealed, prevented, and eliminated.

During the conversation, instructions and recommendations were given to the personnel on the honest, loyal, and conscientious performance of their official duties for the benefit of the state and the people of Tajikistan.

It was emphasized that when performing their duties, the interests of the state should be in the first place.
