As we celebrate 20 years of the City of Palo Alto's Emergency Services Volunteer (ESV) program, we're highlighting the people and programs that help keep our community prepared. In this recent post, learn all about Palo Alto's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), one of the most hands-on ways residents can build skills and support their neighborhood in an emergency. CERT-trained community members can take immediate, safe action to help their households, workplaces, and neighbors until additional help arrives.
