[Link] Pasadena, CA - The City of Pasadena's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, in proud partnership with the Pasadena Latino Heritage Committee, invites the community to gather for the Latino Heritage Festival on Saturday, October 11, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pasadena City Hall (100 N. Garfield Ave.).
This year's theme, "A Proud Past, A Hopeful Future," honors the enduring strength, resilience, and vibrant spirit of the Latino community. The festival is a celebration of deep cultural roots and lasting contributions, past, present, and future, not just in Pasadena, but across the nation and the world at large. It's an invitation to reflect on heritage while embracing a future filled with unity, opportunity, and possibility.
"The Pasadena Latino Heritage Festival is about more than music, food, and dance; it's about who we are as a community," said Pasadena Mayor Victor M. Gordo. "This year's theme, 'Un Pasado con Orgullo, un Futuro con Esperanza', speaks to a truth we all share; by honoring our past and the generations who came before us, we lay the foundation for a future filled with hope. Pasadena is stronger, more vibrant, and more united because of the contributions of our Latino community, and I couldn't be prouder to celebrate that together."
