Peoria County Offices Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

The Peoria County Courthouse, Veterans Assistance Commission, Election Commission, Highway Department offices, and Peoria City/County Health Department offices are closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2024.

In addition to Thursday and Friday, Peoria County Animal Protection Services will be closed on Saturday, November 30. Animal control officers can be reached at their after-hours number: (309) 674-3131.

The Peoria County Sheriff's Office, Jail, and Juvenile Detention Center will remain staffed and functioning, but records and visitation will be closed through Sunday, December 1. Inmates may still be visited remotely throughout the closure. The bonding lobby will retain normal hours.
