Game 1: Tarleton State 0, Seattle U 3
The Redhawks shut out the Texans in game one, notching their second consecutive win. Seattle U registered 11 strikeouts opposed to eight from the Purple and White. The Redhawks posted six hits while the Texans had four.
tallied a career-high eight strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work. He currently leads the team with 38 punchouts this season.
blasted a one-out triple to right field in the first inning, achieving his 14th extra-base hit of the season. The Purple and White couldn't score him though, going down on two strikeouts.
The Redhawks got on the board first via a solo home run from Vincente Felicianio in the third inning. Tarleton State couldn't respond in the top of the fourth frame despite a lead-off single from . Seattle U remained in control with a 1-0 lead after four innings of baseball.
Panneton continued to dominate the mound, tallying three combined strikeouts in the fifth and sixth stanzas. The Redhawks scratched off another run in the bottom of the seventh thanks to an RBI double from Tyler Peterson that extended the lead to two.
Heinrich registered his second hit of the ballgame with a single to lead off the eighth inning. The Texans couldn't capitalize, going down via two flyouts and a groundout. The Redhawks looked to close things out in the bottom of the eighth, scoring another run off a wild pitch from the Texans.
The Purple and White eventually dropped game one of the doubleheader against their WAC foe, 3-0.
Game 2: Tarleton State 7, Seattle U 2
achieved his second win of the season, tallying three strikeouts and only allowing one earned run. Burcham ranks second among the team with 28 strikeouts on the year.
The Texans put up 15 hits while holding the Redhawks to just four hits. The Purple and White had four batters with multiple hits while Seattle U had none.
Tarleton State turned things around immediately to start game two with a lead-off home run for . This marked the 10th home run for the junior, who has already broken his season total from last year through just 33 games. Additionally, Drake is the only Texan this season to register 30 or more RBIs.
After Drake gave the Texans a much needed momentum boost, Seattle U tied the game up at 1-1 thanks to an RBI groundout from Peterson that scored Reese Harmon. The game remained at a stalemate until the fourth inning with neither team being able to pull away.
The Purple and White put together a major third inning to give them control of the ballgame. started things off with a lead-off single, followed by a two-run home run from to give the Texans a 3-1 lead. followed up with a solo shot of his own on a 2-2 count, recording his second home run in his last four appearances. Thanks to Smith and Guerra's back-to-back homers, Tarleton State left the fourth frame with a 4-1 advantage.
Heinrich hit another lead-off single for the Texans in the top of the fifth and ultimately scored on a wild pitch to extend Tarleton State's lead to four runs. Burcham continued to hold the Redhawks scoreless until the sixth inning, when Peterson notched another RBI on a single that drove in Harmon.
Smith and Guerra continued to serve as a one-two punch in the seventh inning. Smith blasted his first triple of the season to lead things off and was driven in by an RBI single from Guerra, making the ballgame 6-2. launched a double to put himself and Guerra in scoring position. The Purple and White, however, were not able to score and ended the inning on a runner's interference call.

Following their series against Seattle U, Tarleton State Baseball moves to 3-3 in conference play. They will look to keep their momentum going on Wednesday when they take on the UIW Cardinals in San Antonio at 2 p.m.
