Headed by Justice-Impacted Licensee

Mr. Greens, a New York State-licensed cannabis dispensary, opens for business on November 14 at 81 Wolf Road in Colonie, near Albany.

The dispensary is supported by the New York Cannabis Social Equity Investment Fund, a Public-Private Fund created to provide opportunities for justice-involved individuals who have received a Conditional Adult-Use Retail Dispensary (CAURD) license from the State Office of Cannabis Management.

The dispensary is owned by Sean Figueroa and Lafonso Bonner, longtime friends and business partners who say they are "like brothers."

"We want our dispensary to be a homage to our families, and to represent the opportunity we've been given," Figueroa said, noting that they hope to provide a store that offers a holistic approach to cannabis.

"We feel blessed," Bonner said. "We are excited to open the dispensary; we have worked really hard to get here. We appreciate the Fund for matching us to 81 Wolf Rd in Colonie, NY. It's a great location, right next door to Trader Joe's. We have a good team in place and look forward to being a part of the community."

The dispensary will carry a full variety of products that are tested to emphasize public health and safety for adult use. Customers may place an order through the store's website, www.mistergreensny.com, where more information can be found about the store and its offerings. The store opens at 10 a.m. every day. It closes at 9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; at 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; and at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
