Contra Costa County - For the safety of the motoring public and our crews, Caltrans Construction has scheduled overnight lane and ramp closures on westbound SR-4 between SR-160 and Laurel Road in Brentwood on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. to allow crews to continue paving operations, please prepare to merge and slow for the cone zone. Please note complete closures, as well as lane and ramp closures, will continue along SR-4 Sunday through Thursday nights between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. The westbound closures on SR-4 will reopen at 5:00 a.m. This project is tentatively scheduled to be completed by Summer 2027.
