A motorcyclist critically injured Sunday night in a crash with a Toyota Yaris on Korean Veterans Boulevard at 4th Avenue South died Monday evening at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Kaden Chapman, 23, of Crossville, was traveling eastbound on Korean Veterans Boulevard when the Yaris made a left hand turn in front of Chapman's KTM Duke motorcycle.
The collision caused Chapman to become separated from his motorcycle.
There were no signs of impairment at the scene.
The 22-year-old driver of the Yaris was cited for failure to yield resulting in serious injury. The criminal charge will be amended after consultation with the District Attorney's Office.
