Volunteers sought for WWU's Latinos In Action conference on March 20

BELLINGHAM, WA - Western Washington University will host Latinos in Action conference on Friday, March 20, bringing together 500 Latino high school students from across Northwest Washington for workshops, guest speakers, and leadership development programming focused on building skills, confidence, and community.

This year's conference theme is You Belong. The mission of Latinos In Action (LIA) is "Empowering youth to lead and strengthen their communities." This annual event brings together Latino students from elementary, middle, and high schools across the region.
