Farmland Preservation Plan Update Meeting

You're invited to the first public meeting on Sussex County's 2024 Farmland Preservation Plan Update! Sussex County encourages anyone interested in identifying the strategies and goals for the County's Farmland Preservation Plan to attend on October 21 at 7:30 PM at the County Administration Building at One Spring Street, Newton, NJ 07860. This meeting offers you the chance to participate in the future of the farmland program.

Since the program's inception in 1983, the County Agriculture Development Board has preserved 19,525 acres of farmland, the Sussex County Farmland Preservation Plan identifies areas in which future farmland preservation efforts will be concentrated. The Agricultural Development Board cordially invites you to this meeting to learn about our efforts and to voice your input on October 21st!
