Agrément granted to the Ambassador-designate of Brazil to South Korea
The Brazilian government is pleased to inform that the government of the Republic of Korea has granted its agrément to Ambassador Fernando Meirelles de Azevedo Pimentel as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to that country.
Mr. Pimentel currently serves as Director of the Department of Trade Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This will be his first appointment as head of a diplomatic post abroad.
In accordance with the Constitution, this designation will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
