Save a life this summer! Donate blood on July 17 at the SAC
Did you know that blood is needed in our area every day? Did you know that the need is most critical during the summer months? Did you know that blood is not able to be manufactured? Blood transfusions are vital for surgery patients, cancer patients, trauma injuries, and chronic illness patients. Someone needs blood approximately every two seconds!
Help our community by donating blood, plasma, or platelets Thursday, July 17, between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, in the SAC Dining Hall! Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. You can schedule your donation here. Learn more about eligibility requirements here. Bring your ID with you to your donation session!
Want to host a donation drive? Email the Office of Leadership and Service (community@uthsc.edu) to learn more about how your organization or office can host a blood drive in your area. The Mid-South region is always in need of blood donations, and you can help close the gap for your neighbors.
