Where have we been, and where are we going? Wisconsin's conservation legacy was built by many passionate people, each of whom triumphed over numerous challenges to protect our wildlife and lands. Come and explore the lasting impacts these inspiring people have had on Wisconsin's environment in this seminar series hosted by the Wisconsin Center for Wildlife at UW-Stevens Point. "Voices for Conservation in Wisconsin History" speaker series begins Thursday, February 19, featuring 5 talks delivered by folks from around Wisconsin, including the College of Natural Resources' very own Dean Emerita Christine Thomas, and Aldo Leopold Senior Fellow, Curt Meine.
The series will be held on Thursday evenings from 5-6 p.m. in Room 170 of the UW-Stevens Point Trainer Natural Resources Building, 800 Reserve Street, Stevens Point, and via livestream on the College of Natural Resources (CNR) YouTube channel. All seminars are free and open to the public.
