Lewisville Western Days nominated for Best of Dallas award

Public voting is now open for the 2026 Best of Dallas Readers' Choice Awards by Dallas Observer, and residents are urged to vote for Lewisville Western Days, which is up for Best Music Festival.

Voting can be done online at dallasobserver.com. Anyone wanting to cast a vote should select the "Arts & Entertainment" drop-down menu, then select "Best Music Festival." Western Days is competing against the Dallas Reggae Fest, Jambaloo Live, TBAAL Riverfront Jaazz Festival, and Lights All Night.

Voting ends Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 11:59 p.m. A person can submit one vote per day per email address. Winners of the Best of Dallas Readers' Choice Awards, along with hundreds of other Critics picks will be announced in the Best of Dallas printed issue and online at dallasobserver.com on Thursday, Sept. 24.

Musical headliners for this year's Western Days festival will be announced by the City of Lewisville on Tuesday, Aug. 4.

Western Days will be held Friday, Sept. 25 and Saturday, Sept. 26 in Old Town Lewisville. This family-friendly event will feature live entertainment on six stages, an expanded Western Village sponsored by Frost Bank, Indigenous ACE Dance Troupe, Kid Kountry Playground, Luche Libre wrestlers, and the MLE-sanctioned World Tamale Eating Championship sponsored by Padrino Foods, and many more exciting activities.
