The Royal Thai Embassy in Lisbon and MOTELX Committee organised a screening of the Thai film "A USEFUL Ghost" at the MOTELX Film Festival
On 12 September 2028, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lisbon joined hands with the Committee of MOTELX (Festival Internacional de Cinema de Terror de Lisboa) in organizing the premier screening of a Thai film "A Useful Ghost" in MOTELX Festival. A Useful Ghost, directed by Ratchaphum Boonbanchachok won the AMI Paris Grand Prize of the Critics' Week section competition at Cannes Film Festival 2025, the highest award among the competition.
In this regard, Mrs. Kanokwan Pengsuwan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand and Mr. Pedro Ribeiro also welcomed the audience who shared interest in Thai movie. The second screening of the film was held on 15 September 2025.
The Embassy also took this opportunity to offer the audience a glimpse of Thailand. The audience enjoyed tasting Thai finger foods and beverage. We also shared travel information to highlight Thailand's top destinations, which received well attention from the visitors.
