Panel Focuses on Fostering Sustainable Fisheries Management

The fifth of 10 panel discussions of the Conference will focus on "Fostering sustainable fisheries management including supporting small-scale fishers". It will be co-chaired by Bui Thanh Son, Deputy Prime Minister of Viet Nam, and Marija Vučković, Minister for Environmental Protection and Green Transition of Croatia.

The panellists will include: Qu Dongyu, Director-General for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO); Pio Manoa, Assistant Director-General for the Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency; Editrudith Lukanga, Secretary-General of the African Women Fish Processors and Traders Network; and Costas Kadis, Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans for the European Union.
