Christa Grenawalt Named Town's Artist Laureate

Tiburon has a new Artist Laureate! We are thrilled to announce Christa Grenawalt has been selected to serve as Artist Laureate for the Town of Tiburon , a four-year appointment in collaboration with the Heritage & Arts Commission.

A Tiburon resident and artist for over 30 years, Christa's work in painting is deeply rooted in place, process, and community. She envisions her role as a way to foster intergenerational connections, and create meaningful, place-based art experiences.

Throughout her tenure, Christa will work with the Town on creative projects-culminating in one major capstone piece-bringing new energy to our public spaces and celebrating Tiburon's artistic identity in conversation with its history, its people, and its environment.

Christa was introduced to the Town Council by Heritage & Arts Commission Chair Arjun Gupta and was joined by Heritage & Arts Commissioners Liz Feibusch and Victoria Fong (pictured at right). Please join us in welcoming Christa and celebrating this exciting new chapter for the arts in Tiburon!
