Singer Elected to Another Three-Year Term with AIA Chicago’s Board of Directors

Taft Chicago partner Eric Singer has been elected to another three-year term as a member of the AIA Chicago Board of Directors beginning January 1, 2026. Singer is completing a current three-year term, which ends on December 31, 2025. As a Professional Affiliate Member and Affiliate Director, Singer has participated in the Board's Development, Sponsorship, and Host Committees.

With a membership exceeding 3,500 individuals - including licensed architects, architectural designers, and a broad network of industry partners and students - AIA Chicago is one of the country's largest and most influential local chapters of The American Institute of Architects. Singer is a construction lawyer. His practice concentrates in all aspects of construction law, mechanics liens, construction bonds and insurance, litigation and dispute resolution. Singer negotiates design and construction agreements and litigates, addresses, and resolves disputes affecting or relating to construction, title, injunctions, and the improvement and use of real estate and the built environment. He is a member of the ABA Forum on Construction Law, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Society of Illinois Construction Attorneys, as well as Landmarks Illinois and the Chicago Architecture Center. In addition to AIA Chicago, Singer is an Affiliate Member of AIA Northeast Illinois, and an Allied Member of the American Institute of Architects. He also participates in the Chicagoland Associated General Contractors, among many other national, state, and local construction and real estate organizations.
