Promotions in Audio

Aman Sahota has been promoted to audio engineer in recognition of the wide-ranging technical and creative contributions he's made to "The Ezra Klein Show" and Opinion Audio more broadly. Aman has become a trusted, invaluable presence on the team, bringing a joyful, collaborative energy and sharp attention to detail to every taping. When our podcast team first started expanding into video, Aman helped build new systems to ensure our audio workflow integrated seamlessly with the video team. Every week, Aman edits our podcast for distribution to a national radio audience, contributes to every episode mix, and shows up as a thought partner as we strive to constantly evolve and improve the work we do. Beyond his engineering work, Aman is a talented composer who has contributed to music libraries across NYT Audio (check out his brilliant theme for The First 100 Days series on "The Opinions"). As he steps into this new role, I'm excited to see him continue shaping the sound and culture of Opinion Audio. - Jeff Geld
