Donovan Stafford, known to many as "Don," is a standout student-athlete at Concordia Texas, where he's pursuing a Computer Science major with a Finance minor, leading the CTX Men's Basketball team as captain, Student Athletic Advisory Committee Men's Basketball representative, and serving as a Junior Admissions Counselor. Set to graduate in Spring 2025, Don has found a way to blend his academic, athletic, and leadership passions.
From an early age, Don was fascinated by the technology behind the video games he loved. This curiosity led him to explore coding and software development, skills that he continues to build on at Concordia Texas.
At Concordia Texas, Don has immersed himself in understanding the complexities of coding and software, while also recognizing the critical role of teamwork in technology. Through his experiences, he's gained valuable problem-solving and collaborative skills that will serve him well in his future career as a full-stack developer.
Don plans to use his degree to design and develop websites, blending his technical expertise with his growing knowledge of marketing.
Don values the flexibility and creativity that a Computer Science degree offers, making it a perfect fit alongside his athletic commitments as a basketball team captain. The balance of stability in the tech world and the opportunity to constantly learn and innovate appeals to his long-term goals.
Kaitlyn Ruiz is a senior set to graduate in Fall of 2024. She's the captain of the CTX Volleyball team, President of Student Government and Student Athletic Advisory Committee, a Junior Admissions Counselor, and an intern at Concordia Texas' Ultraviolet Student Agency. Kaitlyn is completing her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Administration and aspires to carry out her entrepreneurial goals.
