Franklin County Emergency Management and Homeland Security (FCEM&HS) will pause the weekly warning siren test in Franklin County on Wednesday, Jan. 28 due extreme temperatures that could damage the system. Weekly audible tests will resume on Wednesday, Feb. 4
According to the FCEM&HS, system checks will continue despite the paused testing to ensure the system is fully functional.
