9/25/2025 - Development Services is excited to announce the official launch of Citizen Connect, a new public-facing portal for projects submitted through the Development Hub!
What is Citizen Connect?
Citizen Connect is a map-based tool that allows residents to explore and analyze development activity in their area. Built on data from the Development Hub, it provides a geographic view of local trends and offers customizable alerts-no login required.
Key Features:
- Interactive Mapping: View development activity by location.
- Trend Analysis: Go beyond individual cases to see broader patterns.
- Custom Alerts: Get notified about new activity based on your preferences.
- Public Access: No login required to explore what's happening in your community.
What is Included?
Citizen Connect currently supports two application categories:
- Permit Applications - Building permits, site development permits, and public improvement plans
- Plan Cases - Plats, zoning cases, and comprehensive plan amendments
*Note: Only applications with a valid address will appear in Citizen Connect. Some applications-such as certain site developments, zoning cases, and public improvement plans-may not display if an address hasn't been assigned.
