ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Southbound Interstate 29 in St. Joseph is scheduled to be narrowed to one lane tomorrow, March 11 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Clarkson Construction Company, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will be moving equipment during that time.
Traffic Impacts: Southbound I-29 will be narrowed to one lane at the Gene Field Road Bridge construction site from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. A 10.6-foot width restriction will be in place.
This project will widen the bridge and replace its driving surface as well as add pedestrian sidewalks to the north and south sides of the bridge. This project is scheduled to be completed by July 2026.
