Final Concert Announcement Alert: Third Eye Blind Set to Captivate at Great New York State Fair

We think it's a good idea-without breaking a promise to your mother-to make plans to see Third Eye Blind as they bring their signature alternative rock sound to Suburban Park on Saturday, August 29, at 8 p.m. While it's the final concert announcement of the 2026 Great New York State Fair, this performance is just one more highlight in an already standout Chevrolet Music Series.

Since forming in San Francisco in 1993, Third Eye Blind has earned its place as one of alternative rock's most enduring acts. With 10 studio albums, two live releases, a career retrospective, and more than 12 million records sold worldwide, the band has built a catalog that continues to connect with longtime fans while finding new audiences. Timeless hits like "Semi-Charmed Life," "Jumper," "How's It Going to Be," and "Never Let You Go" remain staples of playlists and live shows, proving some songs never go out of style. More than three decades after breaking through, Third Eye Blind continues to pack venues with energetic performances that blend nostalgia with the same infectious spirit that made them a defining voice of the '90s alternative rock scene.

Fresh off their recent New York State-sponsored free World Cup Watch Experience performance at Stony Brook University, the band is poised to energize fans and fairgoers from across New York and beyond.

"We wanted this final concert announcement to leave fans on a high note," said Fair Director Julie LaFave. "This year's Chevrolet Music Series has delivered an incredible mix of legendary artists, fan favorites, and exciting new talent, and Third Eye Blind is the perfect way to cap off our concert announcements. Their music has stood the test of time, and we know fairgoers will be singing along from the first note to the last."

The Fair starts Wednesday, August 26, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. All concerts are included in the price of admission. Tickets are on sale now at The Fair's website, nysfair.ny.gov. The Great New York State Fair is the most affordable state fair in the country. Tickets are $8 for adults while admission is free for children under 12 and senior citizens aged 65 and older.

In total, The Fair's 2026 Chevrolet Music Series will feature 41 national recording acts. There will be a daily 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. concert at Chevy Court (located near Gate 1), and an 8 p.m. concert each evening at Suburban Park (located on the western end of the Fairgrounds, beyond the Midway). The Fair will also host two special shows at 9 p.m. on Friday, August 28 and September 4 at Chevy Court.
