CG NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 3 Choice Filling Closes on October 7: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, is going to end the online choice filling and locking process for CG NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 3 on October 7, 2026 . Candidates who haven't selected their preferred colleges yet must complete their choices through the official portal at cgdme.admissions.nic.in before 11:59 PM. Fresh registrations for Round 3 will end today, October 6, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Applicants who fail to lock their medical or dental college options by the given deadline will not be considered for seat allotment in Round 3.

CG NEET UG Round 3 Counselling 2026 Choice Filling: Key Rules and Steps

Candidates participating in the third round must keep a few critical guidelines issued by DME Chhattisgarh in mind:

• Mandatory Fresh Choice Filling: All previously registered eligible candidates must fill out fresh college preferences. Choices submitted during Round 1 or Round 2 have been automatically reset to zero.

• Registration Fee Top-up: Candidates who previously opted only for Government Medical Colleges but now wish to add Private Medical Colleges must pay the required differential registration fee to unlock those options.

• Re-registration for Non-Joined Candidates: Candidates who completed scrutiny in Round 2 after being allotted a private medical college seat but chose not to join have lost their security deposit. They need to register again and pay the security fee to participate in Round 3.

• Caution Regarding Forfeiture: As per CG Medical Admission Rules 2025, if a candidate gets allotted a seat in Round 3 or subsequent rounds and fails to report or resigns after joining, their security deposit will be forfeited. Therefore, candidates are strictly advised to choose only those colleges where they genuinely intend to take admission.
