ATLANTA, Aug. 28, 2026 - Pinnacle Financial Partners was named No. 5 in the extra-large category for the Best Places to Work awards hosted by the Atlanta Business Chronicle this week. It's the sixth consecutive year Pinnacle has been honored and the first since Pinnacle and Synovus team members came together after their firms' merger. The list recognizes companies where employees go above and beyond in their work, advocate for the organization and plan to stay.
"It's been a year of connection and collaboration for Pinnacle and Synovus team members, and we're honored to be recognized as one team coming together for one purpose," said Charlie Clark, state head of Georgia banking for Pinnacle. "We're 900 strong in Atlanta, and I'm proud of the entire team for uniting behind our vision. It's what makes this combination so exciting and what keeps us engaged and focused as we bring our firms together."
Team members pointed to culture as the top reason they love working at Pinnacle and intend to stay. Comments on the anonymous survey administered by Quantum Workplace included:
"My interest in joining Synovus + Pinnacle began years ago when I worked as a receptionist at the front desk. From that vantage point, I was able to observe the positive culture firsthand-seeing how team members consistently treated each other with respect and genuine kindness truly inspired me. ... I am proud to be a part of a team that values each person's efforts and fosters such a welcoming workplace."
"Everyone cares about each other and what we are trying to accomplish as a company. I love that we go out of our way to help clients feel special... Pinnacle truly CARES, and there are thousands of stories to back that up."
