City Launches New Planning Project Web Map

The City of Gaithersburg's Department of Planning and Code Administration announces the launch of its new Planning Project Web Map. This interactive online map provides residents and property owners with a location view of current planning projects that are located within one-half mile of a property.

The Department of Planning and Code Administration aims to enhance community engagement and increase transparency regarding applications submitted to the City. The Department's City Project webpage provides information for major site plan applications reviewed by the Mayor and City Council and Planning Commission. The new Planning Project Web map enhances the project page by providing a location view of all site plan applications, including those reviewed by City planning staff and other commission bodies, such as staff approvals, special exceptions, variances, and historic area work permits.
