(Manchester, NH) - Today, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) visited the New Hampshire Job Corps Center in Manchester to hear an update on the Center's operations and meet with current students. During her visit, Shaheen toured the Center and its facilities for its academic and career technical training programs, including for the high school diploma, Hotel and Lodging, Reading and Advanced Manufacturing programs. Following the tour, Senator Shaheen heard testimonials from current students at the New Hampshire Job Corps Center about the impact the Center and its training programs have had on their academic, career and personal development. Shaheen also emphasized the importance of Job Corps to communities across New Hampshire and highlighted her decades-long support of the program, which has transformed the lives of Granite State students while boosting economic development.
