KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The Cincinnati dance team won gold in the Premier Hip Hop competition representing the United States at the ICU Championships Friday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Kissimmee, Fla. The victory marks the team's 11th world championship.
Head coach Courtney Dang's Bearcats topped silver medalist Greece, along with Ecuador, which received bronze in the competition. It was the Bearcats' first time representing the U.S. since 2016, when Dang was on the team.
Cincinnati was led by captains Paige Taylor and Kendall Wyly and benefited from the experience of 10 seniors on the floor as the Bearcats won the title by a strong 7.3-point margin.
