Secretary-General of ASEAN bids farewell to the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to ASEAN

Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today received a farewell call from Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (ROK) to ASEAN, H.E. Lee Jang-keun, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. During the call, Dr. Kao conveyed his appreciation to Ambassador Lee for his dedication and active efforts in promoting ASEAN-ROK relations, marked by the establishment of the ASEAN-ROK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2024. Both sides also took the opportunity to exchange views on ASEAN-ROK relations and explored ways to strengthen collaboration in order to further advance the ASEAN-ROK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Dr. Kao also expressed his readiness to work with Ambassador Lee's successor as well as with the Mission of the ROK to ASEAN to build on successes of the past achievements so as to create new milestones in ASEAN-ROK relations.
