Meeting with the President of Moldova
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, at Palazzo Chigi today.
The meeting focused on Moldova's European prospects and the most recent developments in Russia's aggression against Ukraine. In particular, there was shared condemnation of the massive attacks of recent days, which also violated Polish airspace last night.
President Meloni confirmed Italy's full support for Chisinau, as most recently demonstrated by the signing of bilateral agreements regarding social security and the recognition of driving licences.
