City of Syracuse - Cathedral Candle Company Expansion

Negative Declaration

Onondaga County - The City of Syracuse Planning Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Cathedral Candle Company Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves:

• (i) change the zone districts of 1232 Park Street, 1230 Park Street, 1228 Park Street, and 629 Carbon Street into Planned Development District (PDD) Zone District to prepare for the incorporation of the four adjacent properties into the Cathedral Candle Company's Planned Development District (PDD);
• (ii) amend the existing District Plan to allow the establishment of the proposed new warehouse building, new blending area, and new manufacturing area;
• (iii) combine separate parcels in the PDD into one parcel to prepare for the construction; and (iv) construct the new warehouse building, new blending area, and new manufacturing area.

The project is located at 510 Kirkpatrick Street, 516 Kirkpatrick Street, 1238-40 Park Street, 1232 Park Street, 1230 Park Street, 1228 Park Street, and 629 Carbon Street in the City of Syracuse, New York.
