Government begins preparing employment measures ahead of spending limits session

In its evening session on Wednesday 25 February, the Government discussed the employment situation.

The Government decided that a working group of representatives from the parties in Government would begin preparing new measures to boost employment and growth ahead of the session on spending limits in April. The working group will be led by Minister of Employment Matias Marttinen.

In the evening session, the Government received reports from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment and the Ministry of Finance on the employment and unemployment situations and on measures already taken by the Government to boost employment.
