Cincinnati-based MCSP adds specialized services and expands Vortex's Geotechnical capabilities

(Houston, TX - September 28, 2026) - Vortex Companies (Vortex), a leading provider of trenchless water and sewer infrastructure rehabilitation solutions, today announced the acquisition of Municipal & Contractors Sealing Products, LLC (MCSP), a Cincinnati-based trenchless services provider, specializing in the rehabilitation of pipelines, manholes, culverts, tunnels and other critical water and wastewater infrastructure.

Founded in 2000 by Bob O'Connor, MCSP has spent more than 25 years refining specialized rehabilitation methods for municipalities and utilities across a variety of states within the U.S. Its teams have become highly skilled in geopolymer and cementitious spray lining, protective coatings, chemical grout injection and manhole rehabilitation, with a strong record of performance across a wide range of infrastructure applications.
