Pointe du Hoc 81st Commemoration of the D-Day Landings

ABMC will host a the 81st commemoration of the D-Day landings, organized by Pointe du Hoc Committee, at Pointe du Hoc on June 5, 2025. The ceremony, which will take place at the bronze plaques, will begin at 2:30 p.m. local time and is expected to last approximately 90 minutes.

This event is by invitation only. The site will remain open to the public, but access may be limited on the afternoon of June 5.

The ceremony is in remembrance of the American and Allied service members who landed on the Normandy shores June 6, 1944, and fought to liberate Europe and sacrificed their lives in the name of freedom. The monument overlooks recognizes the heroic actions of the 2nd Ranger Battalion during the American assault of Omaha and Utah beaches that day.
