Dia de los Muertos Celebration

The Dia de los Muertos Celebration has become a tradition in Riverbank and has been bringing the community together for the past 5 years in downtown Riverbank at the Plaza del Rio! The event will be held on Friday, November 1 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This is a celebration to remember loved ones that have passed with altars, music, food, and a catrina/catrin contest. The altars are a tribute to those that we have lost so if you would like to have a picture of your loved one displayed on the community altar email [email protected] or bring it in to the Parks and Recreation office at 6707 3rd Street by October 24. For those interested in creating their own altar or participating in the catrin/catrina contest applications are available at the Parks and Recreation office or visit riverbank.org online.
