$20,000 Donation Supports Greater Billerica Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp Program
BILLERICA, MA (AUG 2026) - Again this year, StonehamBank made summer brighter at the Greater Billerica Boys & Girls Club (GBBGC) with a donation to support scholarships for campers.
"We are proud to support the Summer Camp for the kids and families that need assistance to attend such a worthwhile program," noted StonehamBank VP & GBBGC Board of Directors Clerk Joe Smith at the presentation.
The GBBGC Summer Camp Program provides children in grades K-7 with a safe, supportive, and engaging environment throughout the summer. Focused on healthy lifestyles, academic success, and character development, the program combines recreation with educational enrichment through activities such as STEAM projects, music, sports, field trips, and themed events. Campers are grouped by age and participate in activities throughout the Club's specialized spaces, guided by trained youth development professionals who help them build confidence, make new friends, and create lasting summer memories.
"As a working mom," said Jeana DeBenedetto, StonehamBank VP/Business Development Officer, "I understand how important it is for parents to have peace of mind while balancing the responsibilities of work and family.
