The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on the Route 15 ramps in Fairfield and Trumbull. This project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, May 10 and be completed on Friday, May 15, 2026. The project DOT01730543CN consists of milling and resurfacing various ramps on Route 15 in Fairfield and Trumbull. This project is scheduled to begin milling and paving by Waters Construction on Sunday, May 10 to Friday, May 15, 2026. The ramps included are Exit 30 on and off ramps in Fairfield and Exit 27 on and off ramps in Trumbull.
This project is included in CTDOT's 2026 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect ramp closures on Route 15 in Fairfield and Trumbull. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns and state troopers will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday night to Friday morning.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
