Human Genome Sequencing Survey

A new state law (TCA 68-30-201) places restrictions on how we handle human genome sequencing. Effective now, UT Health Sciences is prohibited from:

  • Using sequencing equipment or software produced by companies in 15 CFR 791.4-listed countries
  • Storing human genetic sequencing data in those countries
  • Allowing anyone physically located in those countries to remotely access our human genetic sequencing data (open data excepted)

If your research involves human genomic data, please help UT Health Sciences comply with these requirements by taking our quick, 4-question survey!
