DNT Widening Project in Frisco Scheduled Closures, July 27 - August 2

(July 25, 2025) Expect various Dallas North Tollway (DNT) lane and ramp closures in Frisco, Sunday, July 27 through Saturday, August 2. [See DNT Widening project weekly closures map (PDF)] for details and detours.

These closures are part of the NTTA's DNT widening project and will be used for widening work, sign installation, final barrier preparation and placing final pavement markings. See below for details:

Various DNT and Dallas Pkwy. lane and ramp non-continuous closures:

Sunday, July 27 through Saturday, August 2:

  • The north- and southbound right lane from Gaylord Pkwy. to Cotton Gin Pkwy. will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • The southbound right lane from PGA Pkwy. to Fields Pkwy. will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Two north- and southbound various lanes from Legacy Dr. to US 380 will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Monday, July 28 through Thursday, July 31:

  • The northbound left lane Fields Pkwy. will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

These lanes will not be continuously closed throughout the day and will only be used as needed.

Continuous closures:

  • The northbound DNT entrance ramp at SH 121
  • The southbound SH 121/Headquarters Dr. exit ramp
  • The southbound John Hickman Pkwy./Warren Pkwy./Gaylord Pkwy. exit ramp
